Elderly Care Skills Course And Certification
(July 2017 – September 2017)

The course consists of two parts, the theoretical and the practical. There will be regular progress checks and a final exam. Some practical lessons will be held in hospitals and in retirement homes. The Elderly Care course covers the following topics:

» age-related diseases such as: diabetes, hypertension, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, bedsores, dehydration, etc.
» measuring blood pressure, changing diapers, giving anti-coagulant injections, bed bath
» first-aid measures (electric shock, burns, insect bites, infections, allergy, choking, resuscitation)
» household safety
» etiquette and communication

Requirement: ability to show empathy.

Car Driving Course, “B” Category Driver’s License

Participants will first learn the Hungarian Highway Codes, then sit for a theoretical driving exam. If they pass the exam, they will immediately start taking the practical driving lessons, which are followed by a practical exam. The course involves an obligatory first-aid course and exam as well. Upon successful completion of all the exams, the participants will receive driver’s license.


Requirements:
» Legal residence in Hungary
» ID card, passport or residence permit issued in Hungary;
» School certificate testifying the completion of at least elementary school
or secondary school or college or university, or a valid Hungarian student card from a secondary school, college or university. Any certificate that proves the completion of any of the above mentioned levels of Education will be accepted.
» If your application is accepted and confirmed by MigHelp to take part in the driving course, you will be asked to officially translate your school certificate to Hungarian. Such translation can only be carried out
by OFFI Zrt, the state approved and recommended translation office.
» Age of the applicant: at least 17 and above.

Truck Driving Course “C” Category Driver’s License
(August 2017 – February 2018)

During the theoretical and practical lessons participants will learn
» Mechanics of trucks;
» Vehicle driving;
» Highway codes;
» Work safety;
» Vehicle handling and safety.

Upon successful completion of several exams, participants receive will receive
Driver’s License that authorizes them to drive heavy duty trucks.

Requirements:
» Having a, “B” category driver’s License, valid in Hungary; You must have a ‘B’ category Licence before doing the ‘C’.
» Legal residence in Hungary (ID card, address card etc) issued in Hungary;
» School certificate testifying the completion of an elementary school or secondary school or college or university, or a valid Hungarian student card. If your application is accepted and confirmed by MigHelp, you will be asked to officially translate your school certificate to Hungarian. Such translation can only be carried out by OFFI Zrt, the state approved and recommended translation office.
» Age of the applicant: at least 18.

European Computer Driving License (ECDL) Course/
International Computer Driving License (ICDL) Course

(September 2017 – March 2018)

ECDL certification programmes, delivered through an active network in more than 100 countries, enable individuals and organisations to assess, build and certify their competence in the use of computers and digital tools to the globally-recognised ECDL standard, known as ICDL worldwide, ”ECDL Foundation”.

The ECDL course you are about to attend at MigHelp consists of Seven (7) modules of Microsoft Office programs. The modules are as follows:

Business Hand Craft For Potential Entrepreneurs Basket Weaving And Knitting For The New Market
(November 2017 – May 2018)

Basket making training to improve handcraft skills for self-employment. The fashion baskets are in high demand around Europe and beyond. We are looking for potential migrants/refugee entrepreneurs with creative talent, who are willing to be trained to produce fashion baskets for the European market.

During the course, participants will learn the history and origin of the materials for the baskets, the will learn how to handle weaving needles, how to mix and color the basket materials, the importance of leather handle baskets and finally, how to make a really attractive fashion baskets of their design choice.

The materials are imported from a foreign country. Unfortunately, we could not find alternative materials for such baskets in the country.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Server System Administrator Course And Certification

(October 2017 – February 2018)

Installing, Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows Server 2012
The course is divided into two modules, which comprise the following topics:

1. Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 (40 learning hours, 1 learning hour = 45 minutes)
