Mighelp association cordially invites all interested members of the Hungarian and migrant community to join a special East African concert taking place on Tuesday, 18th July at 6:00 p.m. Venue: House of Cultures, Magyar utca 44, 1053 Budapest.
Agorosso from Malawi, and the Serengeti Troupe from Tanzania will be the guests of the evening. It is truly a honour to host them, and listen to their music.

♬ Agorosso is a guitartist, drummer, songwriter, singer, dancer, actor and storyteller all at once. He was born in 1978, and grew up in Malawi, South Eastern Africa. In the early ’90s he fabricated his own tiny guitar using a metal bowl, goatskin, nylon strings and wood. Local people thought he was feeble-minded for being a guitarist, so he would practice hidden in the bush. Today he plays African music combined with elements of diverse music genres. His music expresses unity, peace, love, and the importance of human rights. His song, „The Last Fishing Boat”, won the award for the best soundtrack at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in 2013. In his freetime he teaches children, and entertains the orphans of the Yamikani Orphanage Centre of Malawi.

♬ The Serengeti Troupe was formed in 2011, its members are Tanzanians living in Hungary. They sing and play African drums during their concerts, all over Hungary. They often give concerts on a voluntary basis in schools, festivals, and entertaining disabled children. The Serengeti Troupe played music with the popular Hungarian group called KFT several times, translated KFT’s song „Afrika”, celebrated among Hungarians, to Swahili and performed it together during their joint concerts. The name of the band comes from the Serengeti National Park of Tanzania.

Feel the vibe, feel the rhythm, and let yourself be amazed by the talent of Agorosso and the Serengeti on 18th July at 6:00 p.m.!
